The San Marcos Chamber is proud to host the 2026 San Marcos Candidate Forum, featuring candidates running for Mayor and San Marcos City Council. This free public event provides community members with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn more about their priorities and perspectives, and better understand their vision for the future of San Marcos.

Community members are invited to submit questions in advance using the link below. Questions will be reviewed and selected by the Chamber’s Board of Directors and asked during the forum. While the community is welcome and encouraged to attend, there will be no live audience participation or opportunity to ask questions during the event.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the community, this is an opportunity to stay informed and hear from the individuals seeking to serve San Marcos.
