DESCRIPTION:Join us for the North County Food Bank's inaugural Season of Giving Gala on Saturday\, December 15\, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. This elegant evening event\, which will take place on the California State University San Marcos campus in The Ballroom\, will raise vital funds in support of the Food Bank's vital hunger-relief programs that serve working-poor families\; low-income\, active-duty military families\; veterans\; fixed-income seniors\; and children living in poverty. The gala will include the following: - Opening reception - Silent and live auctions - Refined farm-to-table dinner - Post-dinner entertainment Gala guests will also enjoy live seasonal music with a string quartet and choral groups comprised of students from the university. Proceeds from the gala will support critical hunger-relief programs including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program which provides weekend backpacks of food to elementary school children living in poverty.
