The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce will host a “Meet the Elected Officials" at their monthly sundowner mixer. This event will be an ideal opportunity to meet and mingle face-to-face with local business representatives and other VIPs in a relaxed setting.
A partial list of esteemed VIP invitees include: U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter; California State Senator Joel Anderson; California State Assemblymember Marie Waldron; San Marcos City Mayor James Desmond and Vice Mayor Rebecca Jones; San Marcos City Council members Krystal Jabara, Sharon Jenkins, and Chris Orlando; San Marcos City Manager Jack Griffin; Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall; Escondido Mayor Sam Abed; Oceanside Mayor Jim Wood; Vista Mayor Judy Ritter; and San Diego County Supervisor Bill Horn. In addition, the Chamber will invite key representatives from county, municipal utility, transit, and school board districts.
